The two-level Columbia Mall is located in Columbia, Maryland, at 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway. The mall is accessible from I-95 South, I-95 North, Route 29 South, and Route 29 North. The Columbia Mall’s hours are usually Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., but hours are usually extended during holiday periods. The Mall is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Though perhaps not as historic or as celebrated as the nearby Savage Mill Shopping Center, the Columbia Mall has much more to offer as far as variety and quantity of retail stores and shopper services.
The Columbia Mall has five major department stores: JCPenney, Nordstrom, Sears, Lord and Taylor, and Hecht’s. The mall’s number of department stores alone makes it stand out in comparison with other Malls; even the popular Eastpoint Mall located in Baltimore, which only has four.
